Pretty Porcelain

To follow on from Allira's ceramic post I thought I'd carry on the theme of porcelain goodness. From top: Kat Macleod limited edition 'Tea Garden' tea-set made for Heide Musuem of Modern Art, Melbourne. Studio Violet in Sweden made up of illustrators Camilla Engman and Elisabeth Dunker: Circus re-used porcelain with ceramic decals. Tooth Vessel by Alyssa Zygmunt a fashion designer, collector and crafter from Brooklyn and Dani M's Crystal Visions: Tribal cluster porcelain necklace. noice.

Miss Modish

Lovely lady Jena (a.k.a. Miss Modish) from Portland, Oregon,
opened up a vintage store late last year. Check out these cute fringed vintage heels!
I'd recommend visiting her blog too... it's the bomb!

Daily Drop Cap

These painfully beautiful drop caps are by American typographer and illustrator Jessica Hische. She has produced a decorative initial cap every day since September 2009 and will continue until she has at least 12ish alphabets. AND these drop caps are available for non-commercial use on personal blogs! YAY. Visit them all at Daily Drop Cap.
She's also coming out to Australia to speak at Semi Permanent in March this year.

Custom Made

Custom Made is indie design by Anna Butler. After a few emails back in 2007, I met her last year at Brick Lane Market in London... she's lovely and so are her designs (all handcrafted by the way). This is her Beware of the Yeti brooch. Me likey!

I recently watched Studio Ghibli's: Ponyo.
If you haven't seen it yet... do so, it's ultra cuteness to the maximus!
